thanks fellow builders for the feedback,these mudgaurds were a challenge,and i did swear a few times when the solder went the wrong way, or came apart, regards simon.

Back to the Cupola, fitted the mike stannard periscopes, they are a very nice detail to add to the Cupola. I made a metal ring and glued it to the Cupola's inside to mount the periscope screws into, to hold the housings. It all looks in a rough state at the moment, but lots more detail to add.

Finally finished this part of the Cupola, raising and lowering mechanism for the hatch. Made of Brass and sprung loaded.

Thanks for the good feedback. The last of the Cupola posts - seems to have dragged on, on this part. MG34 mount to add and a bit more painting. The hatch mechanism seems to work well. Many thanks Simon Manning

Great work Simon, nice to see my periscope parts fully detailed on a Armortek cupola, it shows what can be done with skill and time.
