Over the last few years we have brought out a whole series of kits as a direct result of your feedback - kits like the Pershing, JagdPanther, Hetzer, Leopard 2A4, and more recently the Sd Kfz 7, 88mm Flak 36 and the upcoming Challenger 2.

So, in keeping with what has become and annual tradition, here is your opportunity to once again influence our future production plans.

We have added in some "guide pricing" next to the names of the models. This is a rough estimate of the price at the current rates.

Thanks in advance for your input and we look forward to the results.

Hello from the flu ridden north,

I have been working on the turret mounted MG34. I tried to make all of it myself but I got lazy when I saw this link to FOA 1-6-kugelblende http://www.fieldofarmortanks.com/foa-ac ... ith-mg-34/ The turret mount is slightly different so I have modified it to suit my needs and its all in white metal and not resin. see what you think?

I've also finished the Turret Insignia and number decals, so it just down to the camouflage olive stripe.

Love that MG Paul, the decals are looking very neat stark and clinical, you have some weathering to do there!

Hello Paul,

I enjoy and follow your progress with interest. I’ve a mid (2010) I’ve been working on slooowly for years. It’ll be A31 of GD. At least that’s the plan. What paint are you using for the base coat? And where did you get the turret numbers from?

Best regards,

Simon

Thanks for the link Stephen, I was just wondering whether this was an off the shelf colour or a home mix?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the positive reply's. I've loved doing this mg detail, but finding the Dragon Gurtsacks has been harder than finding the real things!! Seems the one sixth figure market is drying up!

Weathering: I will be watching Phil and Stephens threads with great interest over the coming weeks. Weathering is not something I am comfortable with as I never seem to get it right!

Hi Simon, glad to find anther GD unit member. I followed the prosess Stephen has given you the link to for my turret decal numbers. if you are struggling, or don't want to have a go yourself give me a shout and I will do you a sheet of numbers and will work something out. :D

The base coat paint: its a common misconception that all early tigers had Dunkelgelb, most 1943 tigers came strait from the factory with a base coat of sand (Grunbraun) as they would have original been planned to be sent to Tunisia, but they had been redirected to the eastern campaign. So following that research, I used a German paint which can be found here in spray cans http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/ww2-german ... product,45

Hope that helps, Paul.

Hi all,

Well just before Christmas I treat myself to to anther added extra for the tiger interior. I know I said I wasn't buying anything else but I just couldn't resist. Its the full turret floor, motor, gunners pedals and a few other bits from FOA. I thought it was very reasonable even after the import tax was added.

The only down side is that it was made to fit their tiger turret, which is a later version. So I have to rework the legs and beam to fit in mine and to add to this some parts got damaged in the post.

Anyway, here it is

I think it pretty good so far, I just have to work out a way to attach the leg that should be welded to the Commander's traverse gear frame.

It has jumped me forward by about 3 months as I don't have to make the floor detail myself.

Looks great Paul. Hoping to get back to my tigers soon. Installing some new machines to workshop in Feb so looking forward to making some new parts. Possibly work on the 88.

Are the floor and supports resin? I started a floor for a tiger this evening. In my other Tiger I hid the electric modules under the floor. I have room for the hull ammo bins. My floor is brass and aluminium. I want to be able to stand the turret on the floor when out of the hull.
