Simon, what paint are you using for your finish coat?
Great job!

Simon,
Gorgeous job on the paint and texture. Superb. I had to double take on the safety wired cone nuts on the barrel housing. That looks like the real tank. I thought you put a real tank pic in there! Your KT will be very authentic.

Ive taken a departure and fitted the motors, I have painted the inside in a semi-matt rather than a red oxide as i find this colour to dark on the interior.

Hi Simon and guys,
These 2 motors are installed nicely!
I have done the same thing recently, but there is a little bigger gap in the right hand side one (See photo).
I have mounted & dis-mounted it several times. Only decrease the gap a little bit. Never really match with the left hand side one.
I was wondering is it only me, or someone else also has this problem?
Best regards,
Lerh Chang

Hi
This gap will vary a little from motor to motor depending on the height of the cast bosses on the gearbox case castings. The variation is small and has no effect on the motor and gearbox in this application.

Thanks Martin and Kent, I also like looking at the number of others build photos, as everyone does theres a little differently. The last part of the project im going to attempt is the cupola, try and get some detail into it.

Wow Simon that is incredible. Gets my vote for most realistic KT so far - and there has been some great builds. The turret numbers look great. I also like the semi rusted wheels. Great attention to details, and very good painting!

Hi Simon your KT is looking fantastic, great detail and your painting is inspirational, just think how good it will look with the tracks on, good luck with the wiring, but you have so much room in there it should be quite straight forward
