Mike Tulls beautiful four cylinder early uc engine fully functional with gearbox JC.
Rivet head bolts size 7ba x 1/2" would be good, purchased in bags in of 500, we don't expect to use that many for one build, you will also need say 50 with slot heads too John.

Hi John,

I used 8ba unslotted and slotted by 1/4 with 1 size smaller nuts.

Cheers

No I didn't, I used 7ba but they were 1/4, less to trim off where required. I am using 8ba now for some reason.................must be the heat.

Cheers

Dave

Mike has just sent me the exhaust routes, apparently they were constantly being damaged so as an expedient angle iron was run along side to offer some protection!
That makes my job a little easier as they can just butt up to the hull floor unless Dave wants the full system?

A working fan on a fantastic motor and its working to boot. That's really cool and is probably the only thing that is in this weather. Phew.

Thank you both for the info on the round heads. Dave Dibb's UC looks wonderful and this one's becoming a star attraction.
Super job guys. 8)
That's one mighty fine looking IC motor of Mike Tulls. (But not envious)
Sadly the only thing I'll be animating other than the standard UC R/C is the driver. With a Jason "The monk" Statham twisty steering head. :D

Looking good. Keep it with the four crew steps.
Hope you've got something to keep you cool there beyond the fan on the motor.
