Re: Foa (Field of Armor) WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies/help/etc.!!
I´m looking for the "Stuka zu Fuß Wurfrahmen" (rocket launchers) for the SdKfz 251.
Does anyone have a set and is willing to part?
Or does anyone know a supplier besides FoA?
Thanks
Peter

I did buy the "stuka zu fuss" kit from FOA a few years ago : the frame was made of white metal casting and was very very very fragile... I scraped it as it kept breaking

BREAKING NEWS:
Welcome to the NEW Website - FOA 'long-promised' new website is now operational... kind'of. The website has lots of functionality issues, but our programmers are working on it. You will see DAILY changes on this website. The MAJOR issue is that the usernames have changed. Our programmers are working on it to make sure you can access your account. As soon as the username will work, you will be able to access your order history, and setup your password
FOA/Kitlinx has joined forces with MRS Hobbyshop! - If you live in Utah, please come visit the 'South Salt Lake' Store Mon-Sat from 10am-6pm. The other Hobby Shop is in Sandy, UT, about 10 miles from the SLC store. FOA/Kitlinx operate in the warehouse in the back of the SLC store.
The new address is:
Field of Armor Tanks/Kitlinx LLC
460 Lawndale Dr.
South Salt Lake City, Utah 84115
New Employee - Aaron has graduated with his Engineering degree and is now pursuing his career. He will be helping train the NEW EMPLOYEE, Bruce, on Tuesday. Bruce is also a part-time student and works maintenance in a large company. He is a modeler and wants to train in the modeling environment.
Below are still the pending issues before FOA is 'back on track':
1) Usernames available to customers to access their account in the new system
2) Inventory on the new website is NOT ACCURATE. It seems like customers can buy ANYTHING! Most of 6th Scale Icons is in stock, but be cautious with tanks, as we have limited inventory. We did receive ONE RC Tiger I back from a customer who passed away, but our best seller FOA10001 is out of stock until further notice.
3)New Employee trained properly and efficiently to process orders in a timely fashion
4)We have a HUGE collection of DML/Dragon and DiD figures on sale at the MRS Hobby Shop. We will make this collection available on Kitlinx next week for your enjoyment. All these kits are out of production or Rare. Check on Thanksgiving next Thursday Nov.25! Kitlinx will not advertise them until our FOA customers get a chance to capture them.
5) Daniel will be running our burgeoning 3D Printing machines starting in December 2021. FOA will be transitioning to the resin3D printing when it makes sense.
The new website will work in conjunction with the Kitlinx operation, using its resources for shipping in timely fashion. We appreciate for your patience in the last few months

Currently not true unfortunately. My account has been moved across but my order, which was placed in July, doesn't show on the new website.
Also, when you login, you get one chance to see your account details and then that link disappears, at lease in Edge.
I've worked within IT teams running large live websites and making large changes such as replacing the back-end or the hosting server/service can be fraught with problems. But the cardinal rule is you never go live half-cocked. In my opinion, if they're not in a position to ship any orders out, then the website should be replaced with an "Under Construction" banner until they are ready to trade. The honourable thing to do would be to refund all outstanding orders, clear the books and only go live with the shop when the business is fully ready. But I suppose that may place an unsustainable strain on their finances.
I do sincerely hope they get their act together, as a lot of their models and parts are not (currently) available anywhere else, but a bad reputation takes a long time to rebuild, they're already losing their position in the marketplace and, with world-wide social media, it won't take many disgruntled customers to tank the business completely. No pun intended.

Paypal have recently advised me that FOA have just requested a payment of £216 from my account in relation to an invoice which I paid in 2016. I don't know what is going on with this company , but prospective customers be aware.

Re: Foa (Field of Armor) WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I unfortunately agree, F.O.A , Loic & Aaron have given me the run around for a considerable length of time on a paid order #3891
excuses included
thought part was stock, moving, furnace down, fire Marshall required for furnace, etc.
very disappointed in the BullSh1t responses from what i had considered a reputable company.
I had respectfully asked for parts though late, or a refund, even offered my Fed-EX acct for shipping even though paid for.
it looks to me like when Loic transferred to the new Company he left his debts behind for someone else to clear up.
Loic, if you read this, i'm still waiting for your response to multiple mails.
step up.
Martin.

Re: Foa (Field of Armor) WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to dredge up an old thread. After 3 months of "almost ready" and "big/important changes coming to FOA's website" responses I've
finally given up on getting anything from this outfit on a paid order. Everything I ordered was listed as 'in stock' but that didn't help.
I had to resort to filing a claim for a refund with PayPal.
Unfortunately I'd hoping this was an isolated incident but I had to do the same with an order of accessories from "One Sixth Scale King".
After an initial answer to my inquiries there was nothing but silence from both of these companies.
In the US, not sure what the rules are elsewhere, if a company cannot fulfill an order in 30 days after it's placed they must
give the customer the option for a refund, deliver the order or come to some other mutually acceptable agreement. Silence
will ultimately be interpreted as mail fraud. Nothing gets the authorities here more fuzzed up than mail fraud it seems, at least that used
to be the case.
Be warned; proceed with caution in dealing with these companies or better yet avoid them. Both of their websites seem to be active but are misleading.
I am not an impatient person. I once waited 6+ years for one model (those who know me well will know of what I speak of!) but what I can't
and refuse to deal with is being kept in the dark. If someone needs 6 months to make up an order just tell me. Don't promise 1 week and then go dark
for 3 months. Don't make me beg for updates. That part of my patience died long ago. I know these bits and pieces take a long time to make. Honesty
should be the number one product.

"Characters" is the polite term that escapes me when thinking of these individuals. I've been in this hobby a really long timeGary Phillipson wrote: ↑Sat Dec 31, 2022 9:08 pmI feel your pain Jerri,I placed an order with these characters months ago. and I've seen many companies come and go. Ultimately those that survive to see another year are those who deliver a quality product when they say they will. Everything else is just cloven-hooved herbivore exhaust...

I’ve been looking at the Jagdtiger paint masks that FOA sell. Don’t want to risk buying from them but can’t find an alternative supplier.
Jagdtiger 2020 number 40. With Gun Smoke, CO2 recoil and Driving on custom Brushless motors.

Hi Guys,
Please dont give this crowd any money or business - either as Field of Armor or KITLINX - who seem to own them now. They take your oney, if you are lucky you just might have something arrive, but when it does, it will either be wrong, or short delivered, and they just refuse to reply to any e-mails or to deal with any issues. You have been warned!!
I have spent over $200 with them recently and received only a fraction of the order, and the kit sent was incomplete - just money down the drain. I have sent e-mail after e-mail, photos etc., but they just refuse to reply. My advice would be to stay well away from them. Never had an issue before but it seems as if they have been sold / taken over by Kitlinx who seems to be a bunch of crooks.
