Re: Yves Stug III update
Hello,
I have a question about the roof of the stug, i saw on pictures that they use countersink hex bolts
and sometimes hex bolts. Is that because it depends in wat year they made the stug in the WWII ?
Best regards Yves

Hello,
Today i put the bumpstops on the side parts of the hull.

Today i put some Tamiya TS-3 on the idler, sprockets, suspension arms and the return roll houses.
I insert bolts in the hubcaps.

Re: Yves Stug III update
Hello Steen,
Yes maybe the book will help about what kind of bolts to use.
I spray the tracks with Tamiya TS- 38 Gun metal ( maybe i put later on some weathering )
I did spray the tracks without the pins and shims.
This weekend i will work again on the Stug ( extra long weekend
)

Re: Yves Stug III update
Hello,
Here a little update,
I put the gear drive cases on, i did have to use my milling machine to mill a very tiny bit of the
gear. Now when i put the gear houses on the shafts turn free.

I prepaired some hull parts ( sanding ) for the first layer of primer.

I did also put some Tamiya TS-3 on the road wheels.

Tomorrow i will start on the upper hull parts.
Best regards Yves
