Ray,and Mark,
Thanks for the information, just in time to remove and replace some rivets relatively easily!

Hey you can go off of someone you know, especially when you live where it is raining and cold. I am enjoying reading your build log, great job. I hope to start my own build in a couple of months once the kitchen refurbishment is done and I finish my Limber. Might even make progress on my 25 pounder. Hope an unusual cold spell hits your area, lets say 24 C and dry.

This could be Page 7 complete. That is, rivet the numbered strips to the roof leaving the side flanges and ends empty. The spud box can be finally secured at the end of the build. So build as per the 2 photos. Place in a safe location and construct rear on page 8.

Page 8. Again pieces added at the end of the build manual could be added earlier and here are some for the rear. I have also perma riveted the rear to the floor plates. I will reposition the floor between the sides and secure them firmly.

G'day. I made an edit on the previous page regarding the build on page 4 of the manual. I found this at the end which means removing rivets. I have no idea of that part number but it's there

Removing rivets is not the easiest, my commiserations!
EKP Supplies https://ekpsupplies.com/index.php?_a=category&cat_id=37 and others have Round headed Bolts 5BA with no slots which can take the strain out of re-riveting and there is virtually no telling the difference.
Good to see progress, as I have stalled over Christmas!
Best wishes for the New Year Steve

Re: Mark IV 006
Thanks for that Steve. It wasn't to painful. Almost finished. I'm not securing the spud box top until i have mounted the motors. The rear panels, 3rd & 4th from the back, will also be left off and secured after motors fitted. Left hand side plates to be added then rollers and sprockets.

Good to see your progress Ray, you will be glad when you have seen the last of those small, aggravating nuts!
