My base coat was dunkelgelb by zibmilitaria.de. Good coverage from 440 ml spray cans. Now adding some shading and highlights.

I had made an attempt to record the various build up of layers of colour but somebody thought it would be a good idea to save the photos and clear the card. No idea where the photos are gone. What a waste of time.

Starting on the interior parts.

I will finish the turret roof when I get a loaders hatch. This kit did not come with the Armorpax loaders hatch. Just a blob of aluminium.

I would do zimmerite if I thought I had a chance of getting it to come out like that.I'll be lucky to come up with decent welds.
Fantastic paint job.

Simon, I do not have your skills or patience with weathering and am afraid I might mess it up.

Greg, You can get away without zimmerit on a mid. It does add a bit of texture to the big slabs of metal though. Tools ate very simple. I just use a 1 inch paint scraper that I have reshaped slightly. Greaseproof paper and a rolling pin. Lots of milliput. Like icing a cake. You can practice on an old tin.

It's been quite a while since I had time to work on my Tigers but have at last made some progress. Nothing new really. Just preparing some interior components.

Your Tiger is really looking awesome. The insignia and markings really make it pop. Great to see some posts from you after a bit of an absence.
