Thanks Nick. Yeah im very much looking forward to moving in. Though the missus is not keen on a tank range, well not an obvious one anyway. I'll hide it with rockery

Yes i love bedroom builds michael, the carpets naffed now but you cant have everything. It's time to get it now out though coz it wont fit through the door otherwise, and driving it through the wall into the neigbours flat, then down his stairs is considered anti social round here

If you decide to drive through the wall into the neighbours flat, please get it on video. That's how a tiger should get around. :D

Hell yeah, they would have snapped us up. Until they realised that the scale of my weld would come out about 8 inches wide in RL. So i chipped it off. Will use far less next time

Hi Bob
Try the Link below, its a great article on producing welds with miliput etc.
http://www.armorama.co.uk/modules.php?o ... &artid=220
If it doesnt work google this.
How to create accurate weld effects by Lee Lioyd.
Its on the Armorama webb site.
I printed it off for myself its great
He uses a cut off tube tool which does both covex and concave welds.
For concave welds I have been using different size paper clips.
I am still learning but I think the most important part is the edges of the weld, try
and get it as smooth and flush as possible to the surface,so no gaps underneith when it
drys,bt using a damp cloth or (lick your finger).
Deffinately worth looking for this.
Cheers
Phil

The width might have been a bit out but the texture looks very similar to that weld on the real Tiger.

One thing to note is that it's the centre of the weld that sags, so the horseshoe pattern should be the other way up
