I have a similar problem on CH2(turret rotation), and CH6(blank firer). It only causes the turret to rotate about 10 degrees left, but the blank firer is a different matter. Having had it go off while bent over it switching it on, I have now fitted a kill switch in the supply line

Nick, If you have one of the new power supply modules that supplies the power to the receiver. The problem occurs because on a 2.4 ghz TX/RX the handshaking between the two takes 2-3 secs after power up. Because the supply goes to the speed controllers straight away this causes the tracks to turn until the handshaking between the RX/TX is completed. Apparently it happens on some radios and not others. I have proved the point this morning by running the receiver from a separate battery and making sure the green light was on the receiver before pressing the red button on the PSU and lo and behold tracks did not move. I am going to fit a double pole 10 amp switch (with bolth poles connected together thus giving 20 amp capacity) in the positive feed between the power supply and the speed controller and then wait 4 or 5 seconds after pressing the red button before turning it on. Hope this helps. I'll let you know how it goes.

I followed Dennis's advice and used a double pole single throw switch and it all works fine,so thanks to Dennis.
I attached mine to the side of one battery next to my battery connections for ease of access through the hatch,I used the extra strong velcro which I have used to hold all my controll sytem and the batteries.
Its rated at 7kg on a vertical surface and suitable for wet and outside use.
My switches I found at Maplins,the DPST Toggle switch was £3.19 and I used 27amp cable.
If its of interest to any one I found a 30amp SPDT Auto 24vdc relay and I bought it while I was there it seamed a bargain at £1.98.
The SPST version is rated at 30 amp at 24vdc and for Marine and Lorry use so well up to the job.
I might use it on my Comet when it comes.

Hi Phil,
Yes I have been using mine for sometime now with no problems. I think you will find speed control module will be modified by the time you are ready to fit in the Comet.
