Thanks for everyone help and advice still no joy my son will be back tomorrow to have another go but thought i would post a few pictures to see if anyone can spot a mistake I am making.
Hello Roy,
From looking at your photos and following the wires, you have your modules connected as per silver box.
Please confirm you have silver box and not red box.
Also the audio module is not plug & play, but once you have it correctly connected you then have to teach it to respond to your transmitter to play the pre-programmed sounds, whether you are are using a 3-position switch or a rotary one.
Have you done that ?
At what stage are you experiencing problems ?
Also I see from the photo that the motion module has a 4-DIP switch. Could anyone provide me with info on what the different setting do ?
It could be enormously helpful to me in future fault-finding for you, and the solution may simply be switching one off & on because it failed to get electrical connetion the first time.
Hi mark they are the silver boxes and a three way stick on the transmitter and when we turn on we have a loud click from speaker but no other sounds when we try to set up. Not sure the wires are in the right place.
You are using the Gear channel for the sound selection. If you put a servo in that channel, does it respond as expected when you move the switch back and forth ?
Have you been through the sound teaching process with the Benedini board ?
Hi Roy, When I spoke with your son the other day he was unsure of the connections - I showed him what pages to refer to in the manual.
What is the issue now - is something not working as expected or you are unsure of what connects where ?
If the latter then, using the manual, go through one RC lead at a time end to end and label them as you go. That should help.
Hello Roy, I am following your problem. I have a similar setup on my Panther ; see Mick's Panther A in the Panther section.
Is it worth re-programming the Audio Unit. You look to have all your connections in order. I have all my sounds activated before I run the Panther, I do not move the three way switch while moving the drive stick.
Adrian explained the Audio setup for my Panther A. If the Audio unit is programmed correctly, pressing the silver box ''on'' switch activates the sounds after your hear the ''clicks'' , you should not have to press any button on your Audio Unit.... Mick.
