That's most of the front deck detailing done now, the parts to finish the build arrive tomorrow, thank you Monique. 8)

I've decided to spend some time on the rear deck, there's lots to consider so I have made a start. 8) All the integral filler plugs have to be removed, dressed flat, drilled and tapped and lined up perfectly with the filler cap underneath. I have dioramas of the crew filling up with fuel and coolant to think about.

If you are using that rear engine access panel with that triangular panel (the one between the radiator fan duct grilles) then there should not be any snorkel plugs.

Fitting the coolant components is tricky with lots of metal to be removed.

Phil
D you think ithat the uv weld (glue) might be useful to use for the welds put on the various vehicles

Hi Bryan, not really if it's as thin as the resin I've been using. If it was possible to get a more viscous resin then you may be able to get the weld ripples in it and then cure with uv before it levelled out. Stephen White bangs on about a air cured product that may suit you but I can't recall what its called, he makes very good welds from that product. Try typing welds into the search box and see what comes up.
Milliput for me all the way. 8)

I'm really enjoying this build, more done to the engine hatch to include the feifel system. 8)

Those feifel pipes. The large heat shrink has arrived 8) You can't use Tiger 131 as reference in this instance as the feifel pipes where a very much later post war replacement so more research was necessary. 8)

A quick video of the test trial of the Tiger fitted with my high pressure smoker, also fitted is one of Adrian's smoke control units and the exhaust pulse device.
The fan noise will be reduced once the engine compartment is installed over the top of the fan motor and the sound volume is ramped up a rad.

All in all I'm very happy with the effect. The exhaust flappers (the rain guards) are working well.
