I have just asked the same question to Phil. Because both you and Phil had already worked a lot on the engine room bulkhead.

The manual has shown this figure, but even with an empty engine bay, I don't think the steering wheel rod can be inserted into the engine bay, when the Motion Module was on the way. So what is the best position for the Motion Control Module?

I am not using the Armorteck electronic, so I can install all parts under the seats.
I would take the motion module, behind the gears and the sound maybe as loading Box in the loading area.

For the winch I need another clutch. I took a flexible clutch. Its important for the running gear. Make sure that the motor shaft and the gear shaft is in the same direktion.

A little work on any details...
The front window, unfortunatly was broken, so I build a new one. I had to mill 0,3mm off the frame sides. Than I pushed it in the frame. It is tight, and fixed with the fasteners from the frame hings. The best I did'nt need any glue

So little work on the windscheeld. I am unlucky with my carped rod. So looking for solutions to get it folded...
In time I am on the electric stuff.
I'll use a LiFePo04 (24V, 12Ah). Make a loading wooden box on the loading area for that power pack. Two converter can bring the right voltage (12V, 5V).

on that Famo are so many diffrent 'construction sites'
Sometimes I work on details, mechanik or electric... Everytime looking that I don't vorget something I can't install later... - Fortunatly its nice to build such diffrent things.... So its never a boring job

it was so lovely weather at weekend (20°). So my dog had her first ice

But, one day I spend building on my Famo.
Making the fenders finish. Now they will look nearly the original. What do you think about?

Those fenders look good, get some filler/primmer on them, they are a big part of the whole look of the mid Famo series Nice work !

thats wy I spend much time on it. - The fenders look is important for the hole front looking. Next thing is to get primer and paint on it.

Other job is to get the complete wiering under the floor of the front body part. Than I can finaly fix the body. If its fixed I can go forward with fixing the fenders....

Now its done. The first body part is fixed on the frame. Did some wireing, detail and paintwork. The fenders, sideparts, and enigne top are still, not finaly fixed.
