Hi Marco,
thank you for the nice words, but this is only the begin of a long way of painting and weathering and so on....
Here are the next photos of the turret with numbers.

Very nice work Martin. I don't think I have the patience that you have. Keep it up.

Re: Martin's King Tiger
Hi Marco,
here are some photos of the tracks and the exhaust and the procedure of making the rust for my Tiger 1.
After using the different types of pigments you have to fix it with a so called "fixer". You have to do this with several layers.
Start with the dark pigments and after this take the brighter ones.
Afterwards the end of the exhausts are painted in flat black with air brush.

Excellent, I'm pretty oke creating rust myself, actually it even is loads of fun! But the fixer is most likely what created that GREAT texture, thanks!

But coming back to the king tiger.
Here you can see the inner room of the turret full of grenades and the first photos of the new barrel adjustment.

Re: Martin's King Tiger
Hi Chris,
you are absolut right. That's the same construction like in the Tiger1.
Hallo Rolf,
die Lagertiefe ist genau richtig, weil die Schrauben mit den Scheiben das Lager festhalten müssen - obwohl es eingeklebt ist. Hier ist die ganze axiale Kraft die das Rohr ausübt aufzunehmen.
Here are some more photos of the new design.

Hi Chris,
thank you for the nice comment.
Here are the next photos of the turret with the track links on it and some light for the ammunition.
Also the turret MG is mounted on the movable part of the cannon.
