Thanks Steve, This is the last of the Dash posts, Finding dials that look o.k. and to scale was tricky, you have to pay attention to detail on these parts, i tried Black faced dials but you could not see them, so i went for a lighter set, not correct but i liked the look. weathering, dash decals to add, i made it to also illuminate, regards simon.

Hello Simon,

My i ask where doyou get these rings for the dashboard and glasses for the decals.
Do you cut out the glass from plastic?

Best regards Yves

And I'd like to know where you sourced the decals for the gauges from, thanks Simon!

Hi all, Here's some photo's of dash details, For most of the Halftracks the coin capsules size i used are 10mm, 14mm, 24mm, this looks about the right scale, They are used for storing coin collections, i just painted a rim on the capsule using my lathe,, you can also buy the correct size inserts for the capsules to give the dials a bit of depth, all these parts are on E-bay and cheap to buy, The main Rev counter dial was from Armortek used from the Famo Decal set, Peddinghaus Decals sell a set for the 1/6 sdkfz 250 which i purchased but are to big and look wrong, These two sheets of Dash stickers seem to be the best on the market. hope this helps, regards simon.
