Also upgraded with Parvalux PM 90 motor output 555rpm, use chain drive geared to 416rpm . Actual output reach 4.3KM/H.
The KT come with one set of Olaf late steel track and upgraded driving spocket. Also come with one set of Armortek original tracks and driving spocket.

Time to finish off this thread....

1st For me this was a GOOD Deal. Vincent was great with emails, shipping, a few extra things throw in. Vincent a GREAT Guy.

2nd A deal that took a while. I offered to pay S&H. I got a surprise on that one. When Armortek ships their kits, believe me the kit S&H is LOW.
Well, December 2023 shipping rates from Hong Kong to Fla, USA are HIGH, Very HIGH! Vincent being that Great guy offered to set the deal back till the January rates kicked in and went down, some. Ok, end of Dec beginning of Jan, Vincent gets much better shipping rates.

3rd About January 4th, 2024, Vincent and I agree on totals, including shipping, packing, a few extra items for my other Tigers.

4th Time to send the money, I used a website service called Wise, which other Armortek forum members have used with Vincent. Somewhat of a pain, BUT much cheaper. I asked my Bank of America folks, I was offered a Free wire transfer. But after reviewing their exchange rates I found that I could save almost $500. US by using Wise. Of course, double check and review before you do anything.

5th ups air was used. Ok, some folks seem to have everything go well, this did NOT! I am quoted as saying I think this was the 1st International deal / shipment that ups HAS ever done. I have a LOT of NEGATIVE things to say about this and how long my Tank sat in a warehouse while a lady I'll call "z" played paper games. Due to the time of paper game playing the shipment was about to be turned over to the US government with possible return to Vincent. Left HK 01/24/2024 in US 01/24/2024, same day, 9 days later I finally received some info from ups that it was here and going to be there following day. INCORRECT info, but 1st info. finally received 02/09/2024 at 1:30pm. Note received email sent 1:32pm from z lady saying paperwork not correct. It was.
If you want details on ups problems let me know, I have over 20 pages, with many emails. I wish everyone GOOD LUCK if using ups.
 
6th After a few hours my Wife and I got everything home.

7th End -- I'm Happy with the deal!!!!

Sorry to hear of your problems.

I've had all sorts of issues sending and receiving overseas, from crushed models to one box being held back from a shipment of four. DHL even rang me on a Sunday to ask what was in the last box

I recall with a wince Adrian, actually two of four made it through unscathed, the third a few days later, the fourth a week on..... I can laugh now but not at the time.

I agree that Armortek have a good deal in shipping overseas for sure.

While (so far) I've had nothing but good fortune receiving the packages from Armortek there have been other instances where models
have not fared well at all in UPS' system. Two models stand out as the worst examples, one had a heavy cast part broken and a 12mm shaft bent; the other model looked for all the world as if a bomb had exploded in the package. Most damage while being the result of overly rough and careless
handling by that carrier it was made worse by poor packing and preparation. Two key components are required: padding and immobilization. If a valuable
can move when roughed about it better have bullet proof padding or it's going to be damaged. Both of the items I described above had relatively poor
packing- one in particular had been sent with what I imagined to be dirty ex-pet (dog?) pillows for its sole defense against damage....

That said I have been told that some package handlers play an informal game of "does it rattle yet?" as they fling our packages hither and yon...

To be fair, there was none....

Vincent had everything professional packed, and ups did a damage free shipment. Good Wood Box!

Hats off to Vincent and his packing crew. It did cost but it shipped ok.

My problem was paying for Air shipping and the box sitting in a warehouse for about 14 days while paperwork was done.

A Vincent deal is a good deal. My thoughts.
