Post by Jeffrey Goff »

the cupola lid on the Early Tiger 1 is quite plain, here is a scratch built one in steel, with working steel locking levers, the first picture is of the lid supplied

Hi Jeff,

I am always amazed what you can do in your little shed, great work as usual.

Picked these two medals up last week,
Austrian medal in it's box

Army Shooting Medal, this will go nice with the target from an officers shooting competition I have.

Jeff,
Awesome work on the Cupola lid!

Didn't know you had a Tiger though?

Here are some photos <for inspiriation> of Vince Abbots early cupola. I had the fortune to see and photograph one of these close up some time ago. Wow what a masterpiece of work it was.

Hi Robert, thanks for the pictures, Vinces cupola is as you say a master piece, I do not have an Armortek Tiger, I have just helped out a colleague, no machining, cut with a hand saw and filed to shape

Inspired by Vince's cupola, I was asked to add the locking arm and catch to the lid
