Summer and Autumn 2023 kit releases

Post by Armortek »

As announced in our newsletter earlier today, we are very please to confirm that we will be making 2 cats as our next kits

First off .... this summer we will release the February 1943 Tiger 1 (early Tiger 1 variant).
Tiger_1943_eastern_front.jpg
The version of Tiger 1 that we will be making will reflect the version produced around Feb 1943 - this is commonly referred to as the Early variant - a good example of which is Tiger 131 at the Tank Museum in Bovington. The most obvious visible differences between the Early Tiger 1 and the late version are the addition of the Feifel air filtration system, the rubber shod wheels and the commanders cupola.

The Armortek release of this kit will feature several improvements over the previous 2016 release, including revised wheels, cupola and rear engine hatch as well as the improvements that were brought forward from the 2021 Late Variant Tiger 1 that we made.

In addition, our current plan is to have a revised recoil system ready in time for this kit.

The price for the kit is £4,395 plus VAT (where applicable).

Our next release after that will be the impressive Leopard 2A4.

Scheduled for release in Autumn 2023 the Armortek the Leopard 2 A4 that we will make will be based on Production Batch 5. As usual, we will be producing it as a limited edition, so don't miss out.

The Early Bird Special price for the kit is £4,495 plus VAT (where applicable). Shipping costs will be published once we have a better estimation of the weight.

excellent plans as usual from the armortek crew. having the option of a panther a tiger, leopard, hetzer, elephant and Pershing, etc is outstanding!

the photo of the tiger above is intriguing, it looks very beat up but I love the happy crewman popping up. it reminds me of this photo from the reichstag at the end of ww2 and shows that an 'early' tiger was operating until the very end.

Great choice with the early tiger 1 . Will the road wheels be machined out of alloy like the Mid tiger 1 which I think is the best tiger 1 kit so far . Dale

A question to all of the Tiger experts out there, is it correct that Tiger 131 was a February 1943 Tiger 1? It might not be very imaginative but in that case, 131 might be my choice for my Tiger.

Cheers,
Alex
