65 today and retiring wish list

Post by Derek Attree »

Hi Guys
So I retire today after 49 years working for UCL and CERN.
It also happens to be my 65th birthday today.
So a cheeky wish list of things I would like to keep me busy

A JagdPanther kit with all the new stuff on it.
A Mk IV tank as missed it first time round.

One can dream :D :D :D :D

Regards

Derek

Retirement, one of the best things ever invented....

Congrats on yours.

I retired in 2017 after 46 years with the same company as a software developer and never looked back.
Of course I had a bit of a jump on the armor hobby part. Several friends, contemporaries in that field are somewhat envious of this hobby....

I’m still not sure what retirement actually is - I’ve done it twice now, but still haven’t found the out door …. perhaps next year
