Re: Mr Dawe's Centurion.
Something else we need to think about is the Morris engine, often referred to as the "donkey engine", stl files would be fantastic! It's a simple straight four overhead valve petrol motor used in the Morris Minor, it drives a generator.

Re: Mr Dawe's Centurion.
Phil, a couple of things which might help.
Flashing light. I wonder whether Centurion gun tanks actually had flashing lights in service, other than the ones which survived into later service with the Gunners and Sappers. I say that because I can remember the flashing lights coming into service on Chieftain as a result of German legislation, probably in the mid seventies. The fitting was a local modification, a simple tubular stalk fitted onto what had been the IR detector stalk to the rear of the cupola. It was nothing more than a piece of tubing with a rubber bung at the top and contained the power leads. It certainly didn't fold or anything fancy like that.
GUE (never heard it referred to as a "donkey engine") - this was a simple Morris USHNM Mk 3 engine. Photos from the handbooks attached. See also my thread (you probably already have) for photos.

Re: Mr Dawe's Centurion.
Thankyou Stephen! I have found an engine on line as an stl file but they want money for it.

Re: Mr Dawe's Centurion.
Looks lovely, if the clamps and lifting handles are to fine they could be printed separately but it's worth a go first. Alternatively the furniture could be made from wire and strip , or go slightly over scale on the thinner parts.
