'2019' King Tiger - Fitting the Mantlet.

All, question regarding the fitting of the Mantlet.........the instruction tell me to use loctite......Will this work and/or should I drill into the mantlet and insert a set screw? Any pictures will be appreciated .......

Sorry but I cannot help you at all with this but I have a small favour to ask.

My kit is missing part No.CK0770, can you send me a picture of it fitted as I have no idea what it looks like.

Evening all.

Part CK0770:-

Aluminum, 195mm X 22mm, bored out and thread at both ends, unfortunately I don't know the thread size.

This part may have been with the option pack as I found it unbagged in the box of bits which is my KT presently. Unless test fitted all parts are still bagged.

I’ll have another look as the previous owner could not start the build at all but did put a few parts of the gun together

Can we get back to the main subject of this topic the mantlet.......Any help out there on what the best method of fitting the mantel would be....

In the factory we have loctited CK0413 onto CK0412. It has many hours of running on it and we have no issues.
If you want to go down the route of drilling and tapping, this should not be an issue but we don't see any need for it.

Hi Tom.
As Armortek replied, “ loctite is sufficient “ but if you ever see the need to disassemble the gun mounting then drilling and taping for a M4 grub screw is the way to go.
