#25 is in the Los Angeles area of the USA. I am just starting to build it as a concurrent effort alongside a Panther as well. I will post some pics as I start to make progress.

Dave,

JagdPanther #22 is finally finished and running in Henderson, Nevada and Glendale, California. Took me a long time as I scratch built the breech and gun carriage to scale inside the fighting compartment. The functioning falling block breech mechanism details came from a US Army report on a captured 88mm gun. The Pak 43 gun carriage traverses on a circular pad around a forward ball joint via a motor driven shaft and gear arrangement like the original hand traversed one. Elevation is by a linear servo on the commander's side. Had to do this to satisfy the grandchildren's curiosity on opening up the top deck. Recoil is available and will be motorized soon. Here are some pictures of the details.

Thanks to all the Forum post examples that have guided me in my detail work.

Hello Martin.
I would just like to echo what has been said, and add that this is in my opinion THE BEST representation of a gun from inside the tank I have seen, your attention to detail is second to none you should be very pleased.
Well done.
Cheers Paul.

Hi all.
So, yes only 35 were ever made/sold but I really wanted one so in 2021 I acquired enough new old stock spare parts to create number 36. And yes, it's not a"true" kit but it is to all intents and purposes a 95% Armortek model.

And, like the the 8th Tiger remaining in the world at the Koblenz museum in Germany, it is a bit of a Franken Jagdpanther - i.e made up from a collection of parts but so what? How can one achieve such a tank otherwise?

If you'd like to follow the model's gestation, then please click on to my thread of "2022 new build JP" on the Jagdpanther kit listing.

Seasons greetings to all (Christmas 2022).
