Yes, someone should consider cost. Am I the only one who is not in a position to spend a lot on any next model Armortek may come up with? All my suggestions have been towards building an economically feasible “Next” model, perhaps utilizing existing CAD programs.
I’ll be interested to see this next model, it’s cost, and the amount of kits sold in these troubled economic times.

Any model with a turbine engine is going to be a lot of maintenance. If memory serves most of those small turbines have a relatively short TBOs; time between overhauls. I don’t believe that is going to be enhanced by the dusty , dirty environment a tank typically runs in. While I think it’s a technically neat idea I wouldn’t want one. Nice to visit with like in-laws but even nicer when you get to go home without them!

Maybe not for you but seems a bit hypocritical to diss the lowest priced model they have ever made after calling for more economical options.

We all have opinions, and that’s good! My choice for the “Neue Art” which started in 1943, lends itself more to more interior space to do some great detailing. It also fits well with the Panther Ausf D and the Jagdpanthers which you see most prevelantly in the pictures from 43’ onwards. I also thought it would be of more ease for Armortek, thus seeing a price perhaps more affordable during these tough times.
Either way, I applaud Armortek for being a bit different with this survey….BRAVO!

Hmmmmmmmm, next model….good question.
I’m backing away from my usual diatribe, and taking a different approach. This world is facing some real tough times…focusing on economics in this regard. So, how about we go for something a bit different…and cheaper? There are many that might fit this “Bill”, but I’ll start off with say….a Flak38, or Flakvierling with its small trailer. Or, utilizing some common features of I the previous two suggestions…a 60cm Flakscheinwerfer searchlight? Maybe even a re-release (With some of the fine upgrades that have been produced) of the Flak 88?
Please don’t yell at me for getting off script of the heavy Armor theme….just thought this might be a cheaper or somewhat pleasing departure….just for the short term.

See, I was expecting at least one of the top six in the survey….and don’t recall seeing them in it? So, my disappointment resides in hoping that they would at least consider one of those top six….perhaps I’m missing something. Also, this is an open forum, you need not make it personal.
