Fellow tank fiends near merseyside

Post by Duncan Allender »

I am moving from London to Bebington,Wirral soon. I have just bought a second hand Mid Tiger with all the extras, and am buying a scond hand kit of a Sherman from a bloke in Germany. Both are Armortek models. The Tiger is an awesome beast and I am very impressed with it.
So I am looking for some chums anywhere near Merseyside to do some Tanking with, and also I may need some help with the Sherman's electronics when I start to build it. I will probably be 'up north' sometime around Xmas,so would appreciate a call.

Hi Duncan,

Welcome to the board. You've chosen wisely :D . I am not too far away in Frodsham but know the Wirral well as I went to school in Bebington. I regularly meet up with fellow members in Carnforth, Lancashire, but would always welcome a more regular meet nearer home  All the members up here are a great help with electics, build and even painting advice. I feel you have landed in the right place to have all the help you need close to home. Hope to meet up soon, Antony

Hi Duncan,

Welcome to the Wirral  . I have PM'd you my mobile. I'm meeting Ian at the Charnock Richard services on the M6 at 10.00am on Sunday morning. Let me know if you're coming. It's about half an hour to the services from mine so I would allow about three quarters of an hour to an hour from yours. From there it's another 30 mins to the Hall. I know it's a bit of a drive but it is well worth it, meeting all the lads and having a chat.

Hopefully see you Sunday.
