I have an early Tiger 1 with a Benedini sound unit Type TBS5 II.
The speaker output is extremely loud and I cannot seem to adjust the volume.
Do not believe the real tank made so much noise.
The manual identifies the Volume Control on a electronic board picture, but it appears to be a solid lump of plastic.
No apparent screwdriver slot.
How does one adjust the volume?
The manual states the supply voltage should not be larger than 12V, but the Armortek wiring harness, supplies the sound unit with 24V.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Benedini sound unit
What's between the Benedini and the speaker, as that will be what needs to be turned down ?
There is a volume control on the TBS5 itself but it's a tiny surface mount pot and they like to be moved much.

Re: Benedini sound unit
Nothing except wires in the Armortek wiring harness.
I guess one could use a variable potentiometer there?
i will checkout your website.

Michael

Re: Benedini sound unit
There must be an amplifier in there somewhere as the TBS5 doesn't have an onboard amplifier, so it's not going to deafen anyone on its own
