reworked tiger bin from steve winstone,one word :superb:i! i said are they hard to make,he said i have to have a day off after one of those bins plus some swear words , i,will leave out,250 x 1/32 rivets,i love the detail it gives,many thanks steve.

some views of the tiger build,the turret casting was out of shape to the turret top ,lots of work for mr dremel as kent would say to recess the lip the lid sits in,this problem is well known on the forum,i tried to make the best from both parts without having a new top made,i think it looks ok.

hope the photos are of some interest,looking forward to your tiger posts tim,and dale must be on hot bricks waiting for his king tiger.just to get you more excited dale the armortek factory is not far from where i live,and yes it is full of king tiger parts,and metal on pallets,with mark nursing the haas machines.king tiger heaven is approaching.!

That's certainly the sort of size building you need to sensibly work on these tanks

I'm stuck with a six foot square box room and a garage still stuffed full of junk such as bicycles, barbeques etc

And as if my garage envy isn't enough

, those Tigers are looking superb

Greeting from a snowy UK !
i have moved the turret in the conservatory to do some work,
workshop is just to cold. I am going to attempt to do a super detail of the cupola, try and get a stanard kit, if its still avilable.fitted armorpax track hangers which are very good,i am going to try kitchen unit magnets to hold turret lid on to give easy access to electrics,i might change to winter camo if this weather keeps up!roll on summer. simon manning

Simon - looks fantastic. Can you help with a source for the cone head bolts on your pistol port? I need about 80 for the Pz III. Gill has some with hex face but I also need plain ones such as you have. Thanks. Stephen

By the way, what are the small divets in the turret side where the track link mounts are?
