Yes - this should be possible. We will be placing our materials order at the end of this month, so will need confirmation before then.GlenStenhouse wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 12:38 amAny chance of buying the Panther turretless so I can build a Bergepanther?

Yes, this is also possible. But in addition to the wheels you will need new axels and hubs.
We will set a special price of £1,190 (plus VAT and shipping) for the full set if ordered before the end of this month - the set will include:
- 32 Road wheels (including hubcaps, tyres and fasteners)
- 16 hubs with 32 bearings and fasteners
- 16 roadwheel axels with 16 end caps and fasteners
If this is of interest to anyone then let us know before the end of this month when the materials orders have to go in.

Re: Armorteks next model
Perhaps a “Silly” question, but are the road wheels to be stamped or turned from a disc of Aluminum or Steel?

Hi all,
just a glimpse to a future that never came true; seen at Uffenheim tank meeting some days ago. A very strange species called "nasser Löwe" (wet lion)....

Re: Armorteks next model
Hmmmmmmmm, next model….good question.
I’m backing away from my usual diatribe, and taking a different approach. This world is facing some real tough times…focusing on economics in this regard. So, how about we go for something a bit different…and cheaper? There are many that might fit this “Bill”, but I’ll start off with say….a Flak38, or Flakvierling with its small trailer. Or, utilizing some common features of the previous two suggestions…a 60cm Flakscheinwerfer searchlight? Maybe even a re-release (With some of the fine upgrades that have been produced) of the Flak 88?
Please don’t yell at me for getting off script of the heavy Armor theme….just thought this might be a cheaper or somewhat pleasing departure….just for the short term.

Re: Armorteks next model
A cheaper kit would have to sell more volume and there may not be a market. There is already the UC and the Hetzer. Plus the models you mentioned wouldn’t even be RC or “Armortek” they would be “kompact” brand. Tigers and Panthers and Sherman’s are what keep the brand alive!

Sd.Kfz.10. How’s that sound? It’s a bit smaller….lends itself to be able to tow, or mount weapons, and I think it’s a great looking piece of equipment!

Re: Armorteks next model
I love your suggestions are all German.
An m5 Stuart is really due. Or an m3 scout car. I think a car that Armortek would need to change the approach to motors and gears maybe update to brushless motor for more power and smaller size. The UC did well with its setup.
