I still feel more MODERN AFVs (i.e.: Post WWII) would sell better!! There's SO MANY more AFVs from many countries that were built/fielded from 1945 up to today..

I personally would want an M113 Armored Personal Carrier. A Pershing or M1 Abrams would be interesting too... I'm going to enjoy this hobby as long as I can and want tanks that interest me AND attract newer 1/6 builders in to this hobby!

I believe what appeals to me about pre-1950's tanks and military vehicles is their diversity in appearance and variety of purpose
since armored warfare doctrine was still being worked out.

Modern and by modern I mean contemporary AFVs all look the same (no flames please) largely because tank producing countries have
made the same studies and come to similar conclusion hence tanks that akin to McDonald's 'burgers' - they look the same no mater where you buy one.

Mike I respect you as a modeler and a friend but a M113? It would be like a soda cooler with tracks. How about a good solid M24 Chaffee if you want
a wannabe tank?

No offence, but I think German (and the other "Western" and "Eastern") and Russian tanks look quite different...
Russians are a tracked chassy with an upside down pan (except T14).
Abrams is different from Leo II (though I must admit that on quick glance, I have difficulties to distinguish between Leo II, Type 90, and K 2), but e. g. Merkava, Leclerc, Challenger 2 look quit different from each other...
So a lot to choose from!
My favorite would be Leo II A 4 (with upgrade kit to A6 or 7)!!

No offense taken, we're all friends here! It wouldn't be the first time I was caught swimming upstream. I'll just defer to demand when it comes to
the machines that are most sought after... If Moderns are what is next in the series it will allow me to catch up a little in my build queue which now has any number of machines waiting in line...

I had the joy of going for a ride in a Leo II at Munster in the early 90s and I'll say it is an impressive machine. I've seen an Abrams sort of close up. They are all impressive surely.

So you had the pleasure of a joy ride.....
I got my drivers license on a Leo 1 and drove Leo 2s during my active service time in the mid 80´s!!
Also rode a 500 ccm dirt bike back then.... Like changing from a coach to a Porsche 911...

If choosing an afterwar tank model I would prefer the M48 A2, which was my vehicle driving in the Bundeswehr (German army) after passing the driving school using M47. Already some days ago..........

Hopeful of some self-propelled artillery or similar where the interiors are open so we can do a bit more with presentation and animatronics filling them with figures.

M109 on the current E8 chassis slightly lengthened for a more modern version.

Couple options to use components Armortek already make to keep development cost and timeframes down but still give a uniquely different and interesting model.

Even using the Sherman chassis to create the ARV that will compliment the Bergepanther.

A Raupenschlepper Ost would also be a happy addition where quite a few characters could be added.
