Hello guys,
i am building a late tiger I and i might have a small problem:
the play between the bushings in the suspension bars and the suspension shafts is something between 0.1 and 0.2 mm (the inner diameter of the brass bushings is in the range of 14.05 mm and the outer diameter of the shaft is in the range of 13.90 mm. I fear that this play will result in inreased attrition during suspension travel. Roland Mann suggested to use new brass bushings with a tighter fit. Has anybody else some information or experience concerning this issue ?
Thank you very much !
Greetings Enno
too much play between susp. shaft and suspension bushings ?

Hello Enno
That is standard bushings. Dont worry. They are not designed to be interfeance fitts.
