ADHESIVE

Post by Graham Ord »

I am making a Panzer IV to the Armortek plans with a few alterations to the manufacturing methods. I now need some advice on the best type of adhesive for a permanent joint which is fairly slow setting. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have considered soldering, brazing, welding but have not got the equipment to produce the heat.

Hi Graham,

Based on many years of trial and error, I can recommend to use JB Weld for joining steel, aluminium, brass etc.The adhesive version takes a couple of hours to set.
Degrease the parts and use sandpaper to get a rough surface.
