Hi Dale,

Its been a nice long break and I am in the process of clearing the backlog of orders. The market is going to dictate a lot of what we do this year as I intend to see how things shape up before I commit to any major investment.

The split hatch should be ready to go in around 2 weeks and I will be taking pre-orders from the end of the month, before we do the first full run. I will post on this separately towards the end of next week.

The other new PIII parts shouldn't be to far behind it.

Happy New Year to you and all on the forum,

Cheers

Dave

Hi Ad,

I am waiting for the 2 parts of the lower drum ring from my rapid prototyper to complete the main section and then have the 2 x gun drums, generator and front armour to finish.

Progress was somewhat interrupted before Christmas by the arrival of our daughter which has meant with Gwen off work I have had to put in considerably more hours at other things to make up the shortfall. I will post more pictures as and when I get chance to complete the next pieces.

I sincerely hope that once the piece is ready we receive more interest than we have had in the other halftrack variant parts we produced as this also slows the development of other pieces.

Best regards,

Dave

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your update. You got me worried for a while.
I am building the M16 next to the M3 version, so i will be ordering your accessories for both. Do you already know when you will have some pricing information on the basic quad (without the .50 's) ? Then I know how long I have to fill my savings account
Cheers,
Ad

Hi Ad,

Its difficult to get an accurate price as I keep finding bits I've missed :? but the budget price I have suggested to Lee and a few others is around £250 for the full works with all the guns and mags. Once its fully together and I know what will be metal and what will be resin I will be able to tell you whether that is realistic.

I know I had planned on having it complete at War and Piece last year but things don't always go as planned  , I do intend to have the piece finished painted and on full show by this years W&P

Cheers
