Hi all this is my first post this is my dads log in i have lost mine so am using his, i'm his favourite son sid,
I have just started to dry build my panzer III & will attach some photos when i'm home next , but have got round to building the Turret and boy was it fun!...but now i have some big gaps and a couple of bolt holes that dont line up and its not a case of a bit of filing the holes!!!! so was talking to my dad about welding the turret and the and hull (i know they're dis-similar metals and i'm just doing the alluminum bits so i can still get access to the heart of it !!!! so has any body else done this and could give me some advice plus i was looking at zimmering the hull and turret but can't find any pics of Panzer III with it done have seen other panzers with it but not III, and any advice were i can have some space side armour made but would like to do it my self...any correspondance regarding this project greatfully received

Hi Steve and welcome here.
Regarding the zimmerit and why you have a hard time finding photos of a Panzer III with it on is because it never happened.
The Panzer III production stopped in August 1943, before the order for applying zimmerit came.
There might be a few with field applied zimmerit but I have never seen a photo of such.
So go for the rolled armour surface structure instead
Regarding the welding I have no clue.
