Motion controller transmitter

Post by Fernando Kuehnel »

Controller A: Not sending a signal to main motors left or right; getting power to the module but no output 25V. I have a signal in the receiver when attached servos to empty slots but motors not responding to transmitter input. Is the controller bad?

Do you mean when you put a servo into the channels used by the motors it moves as expected ?

It may be a bad module or it may not be in the right configuration mode.

ImageI have the same problem, usually when the left track and right track channels are connected to the audio module at the same time, this problem occurs. My solution is to connect only one channel (left or right) to "RC inputs 1" of the audio module. Keep "RC inputs 2" empty.

yulun.chang - something to try.

Does the tank drive correctly if you have all the RC inputs connected on the Audio Module as per the manual but the Output 3 to Recoil Module disconnected (I know the recoil won't work) ?

Adrian,

Thank you. You are right I needed to connect my audio system. It is working now. This is my first build... Also, Mixing on the radio. I'm using Spectrum 7Ch. I got it moving forward and backward; I got it going left with one side of the track going forward and the other back to turn. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Do you mean it goes in the wrong direction ? Stick to the left, tank goes right ?

If so, swap over the two leads in the receiver which go to Module A.
