Can anyone recommend a Resistance Soldering Unit or point me in direction of where to purchase one. Struggling to find anything in the UK.
Thanks in advance.

Greg,
I have the London Road Models machine, although have yet to try using it in anger.

Think I’m right saying this is the same unit that Stephen White has - he used it to great effect on his Centurion and I’m sure can tell you much more about it than I can.
Good luck
Kevin

Greg
This is the best RSU available from a UK source.

I’ve had one for a few years and it’s never let me down, is powerful and very effective. Good service too.
As Chris says, the American Beauty products are top quality but are very expensive to buy and import. A very good solution is to buy the London Road Models RSU but combine it with American Beauty tools. I got two, the Light Tweezer Style hand piece for delicate point work and the 3/16ths Carbon Probe for seams and generally heavier work. The advantage of the American Beauty tools is the ability to absorb the higher temperatures and have good hand insulation. The London Road Models tool is OK for fine work but is really intended for things like photo-etch.
I did a write up of the London Road Models unit here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3931&start=165
