Lots and lots done today, I have that pain between my shoulder blades from working at a bench and lathe all day. 8)

Fitting the exhaust system is a nightmare, I'm still not sure exactly where it all sits until the exhaust manifolds are in place, and that's after the beautiful engine is built.

I needed a cramp to get the front engine mount bolts in place.

So the last job of the day was to turn down the m3 button to look more like a torque tube fixing.

The m3 cap heads are temporary, we have reduced heads on their way. The standard m3 hex are just too big.

I missed the motor hidden in engine block! That engine kit is a looker. Love the brass detail bits. Amazing! Top notch modifications! I need to stop trying to build these kits and just have you do it! :shock:

Calling a Rolls-Royce a 'Roller' almost cost me my wife's hand in marriage ! My prospective Father in Law (who owned a 1931 20/25hp) firmly re-educated me - I still bear the scars :oops:.

Stirling work Phil, a presentation build like this would surely sell.

The photography is refreshing and reminds me of the old fashion steam locomotive engineering builds of high caliber seen else where on alternative forums.

As always, awesome build.

The a chassis is nearing completion.

To get the front wheel hubs to run free 1.5 mm needs to be removed from the inner hub face or it just won't sit on the taper correctly without fouling the hub mount.

More engine and firewall work, the engine is a great kit with many many parts lots being of brass but watch for to much brass like the distributor caps and the exhaust manifolds they need painting. 8)

The engine is finished for now, just a bit of weathering and a few more wiring details. The chassis is having its first coat of its desert camouflage. I would like to get the half shafts installed and get the wheels on but I've heard nothing from the very busy powers to be so we will just have to wait. 8)
