Batteries again from panther posts

Post by Derek Attree »

Hi Guys
I had this in the panther section but no replies...so I will try here

Phoenix Batteries dont supply golfe trolley batteries anymore.. :( .
I have found an alternative supplier on the web (Golftrolleybatteries.co.uk)
however they do 2 different types of the hillbilly size the tanks use.
AGM 22 at £32
SDC 22 at £42

Does anyone know the difference apart from the £10 price difference in the
SDC (super deep cycle ) claims 400 cycles. and the AGM normal type. :?
How many cycles for the AGM type?

Confused I am
Thanks
Derek

Hi Derek

I have not managed to speak directly to Phoenix however I was told yesterday by another customer that they are still selling these batteries. I have left a message for them to call and if I get any other information I will let you know.

Derek, go for the SDC22, they are what I have used and recommended to everyone. They are a bit more expensive, but you have to pay for quality and long life.

The charger to use: http://www.accumate.co.uk/it010004.htm
Just plug in and leave it on, as it is a peak charger. Always recharge the batterys as soon as possible after a run.Never leave them in a state of half charge! ROBIN.

No, I just put them on charge ASAP after a run, and when they are recharged I unplug them.
