This obviously has implications for those who bring WW2 German vehicles to shows, which may have swastika markings. Clearly it's all about the context. Subtle Afrika Korps markings (the swastika in the palm tree) have been deemed OK. Gratuitous 'air recognition panels' or pretty little pennants at the top of aerials probably aren't. And anyone showing SS number plates on their armoured cars or halftracks might wish to consider making them Heer (WH) or Luftwaffe (WL) instead. It's all down to common sense - if you spend your time trying to think of a way around this Policy you're almost certainly breaking it

But this affects all of us, and our continuing relationship with Bovington. So please treat it in the spirit, rather than the letter, of the requirement.
