Post by Steve Norris »

Does anyone know if the show is going ahead on the 4th and 5th of September, I have heard it is cancelled but it is still on the Tank museum website.

Hi Stephen,

The Events team suggested it was going to ahead but not seen anything official yet. This was end of Feb.

"Thank you for getting in touch.

At this moment in time we are planning that our September model show will go ahead – Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th September 2021. Unfortunately we had to recently cancel the April show."

Best regards

Dave, I believe the Events team canned the model show when they moved TankFest to Sep but I'll contact them tomorrow and get a definitive answer.

Hi Stephen,

That email was off the back of my Tank fest application but worth checking. I have kept the dates free for now just in case.

Best regards

Steve, Dave (and all)

I've just heard back from Rosanna at the Tank Museum that they ARE going ahead with the September Model Show. Although they thought they'd be too busy preparing for TankFest, they've decided there's demand for it and I guess they need the revenue.

September could be a busy month:

4-5 Sept Tank Museum Model Show (and the AAF show in Danville, USA)

11 Sept Armortek Open Day

17-20 TankFest

25-26 Sept Milltracks in the Netherlands.

Best book the whole month.....

Hello Stephen
Thanks for confirming that the show is on. Definitely one to attend as I don’t think I can make Tankfest.
Regards
Steve

Hi All,

Just to back up Stephens email I have had my contract through for the Model Show. If the open day goes ahead as planned that will be a show a weekend for 4 weeks :-) Better fix my displays, don't expect much stock though. Order huge quantities of parts early to avoid disappointment.

Cheers

Dave
