Universal Carrier Replacement Track Pins

Hi All,

It looks like we have enough interest to warrant a decent batch of these. Sets can therefore comprise 350 pins in steel with stainless steel nuts rather than the 500 I had to buy initially. Set will be £300.00 + p&p. Delivery to me from placing the order is likely to be 3-4 weeks. We won't be able to offer single orders at this price and would need to get sufficient orders together each time to make the price work.

I have been asked about Stainless pins and had initially inquired with the supplier before buying steel for myself. With costs in excess of 3 times the steel ones and a reluctance by the supplier to machine in SS we binned the idea. The Pin head is a little larger than I would have liked but again process limitations with the supplier.

As these are a bought in item and not cheap we will be requesting payment with your order. Payment by Paypal or Bank transfer. Email or PM if you need details. We will place the order on the supplier at the end of this coming week (26/3) with all confirmed orders providing we hit the magic number. We will not draw on any payments until the order is in and in the unlikely event it didn't go ahead due to lack of numbers we would refund in full. P&P will be payable once they are ready for despatch.

Good news is we have enough orders to warrant placing one with the supplier. This will be placed on Friday with all confirmed orders at that point. Please do not send any payments after this.

Hi All,

Just finished fully replacing the split pins in the first track and I have had to use all 165 links supplied for each side. Before modifying I had 163 in but they were still slack. Full diameter pins have definitely tightened up the tracks and I had to nip up the joint to get the last pin in. Fit round the sprocket looks Ok and there is still plenty of bend in the tracks. I would expect the tracks to slacken a little once I have run them for a while and they bed, especially as the odd one was a little stiff after first putting the pins in. Before I go ahead and order these please take note of this and let me know if you are still happy to proceed with your orders.

Order has gone in now. With the quantity ordered I have managed to get a better price on the SS nuts so I wont be charging any P&P on these orders.

If you have not already ordered these please do not now send any payments as we may not be able to add them to the order. We can always run another batch if enough additional people want them later.

Supplier has confirmed approx. 3-4 weeks for delivery.

Just had notification these are on the machines so should be with me pretty soon. They are splitting the despatch so we can get some out and we will do that based on the date the order was received. Once we ship them out we will let people know but don't panic if you don't get notified straight away as some of you will be in the second despatch.

First load of track pins have been shipped. Machine is still running and they will ship the remainder as soon as they can. If yours has been sent we have emailed you, if you have not heard anything don't worry, yours will be in soon. We are also hopeful all remaining Carrier update orders will be packed and invoiced by early next week.
