Paul,
A nice couple of pictures, the Tiger is looking good. Finding a bit of ground without stones is important, its a menace getting them in the tracks and breaking links. Another menace is the dreaded "dog mine". I took my tank out with Lionel Champ for a run over Christmas at the local park. The trouble is that it is mobbed by people walking dogs and despite being careful it became obvious I'd hit a "mine" when driving home with the pleasant odour wafting from the rear of the car. its too cold for the hose pipe at the moment but thats a nice job awaitng me when things warm a little.

Hi Alan.
Cheers "touche" i also hit a mine so we both have it to look forward to . You are right about the stones though but this place has none, the actual beech is stones and mud but there a good bit of grass to run on and a nice few ups and downs.
By for now mate Paul

Roland,
Here in the south east of England the population density is very high, so finding a nice quiet space to run tanks is difficult. Every spare bit of ground is soon built upon and the park areas have loads of people visiting, and also the dreaded mine layers. The area that I was running on was set up as a picnic area for families and kids to enjoy, but it had obviously been taken over by the dog walkers who obviously don't think it is necessary to get the dogs away from the area before they start laying mines.

Great photos Antony and Paul! Thanks !!
Well on the subject "Dog mines" it is allmost impossible to run my Tiger1 without getting braun stinking tracks . I am a dog lover but there are just too many people in my little country which is smaller than the Yellowstone Park in the US. We now have some 17 million fox living here so you can imagine how many dogs and don't forget the cats because they are even worse!!
