Bobs RR Silver Ghost Chassis complete!
I have at last completed my Rolls Royce modified chassis and engine. The engine was quite a challenge especially to get the engine mounted on the chassis. To do this I had to remove the radiator to get it in place! I am pleased with the end result. I have found it very useful to have a fairly well equipped workshop together all the parts to fit! I made the car with solid wheels and I may change over to spoked wheels later. Have attached some photos

Well Bob you have made a beautiful job of the that RR, I agree you need a lot of skill and a few machine tools to make a thing of beauty and you have done just that!
I have one to build very soon ( well a variant of ) and I hope it looks half as good. What's your next project from Armortek?

Wow beautiful job. Are you going to finish it out as armored car - or leave it as a chassis? Lovely job.

Re: Bobs RR Silver Ghost Chassis complete!
Building it as a chassis unfortunately precludes it from being fitted with the Armoured Car body. Too many nice bits have to be left out to fit the motor packs and batteries .....Robert E Morey wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 8:01 pmWow beautiful job.
