Call me a wild optimist but having discussed with Kian, I've now registered Armortek attendance at the Tank Museum 2021 shows. Dates are as follows:
- South West Model Show 10th & 11th April. I've registered for Sat only but could amend if there were takers for Sunday.
- Tiger Day XV 24th April.
- Tankfest 25th to 27th June. - Armortek stand and running area
- South West Model Show 4th & 5th September. Ditto for April show
- Tiger Day XVI 18th September
Armortek and customers also plan to attend:
- Millitracks 2021 15th - 16th May Netherlands
All of these are naturally dependent on the Covid-19 situation but let's plan for a relaxation of restrictions and the opportunity to enjoy running our models in public. Please let us know if you've any suggestions or comments to make the most of the new season. It would also be great to see customer plans for events in other countries.

Re: Armortek Events 2021
Hello Oh Wild Optimist,
Although I have not been to an Armortek show for over five years, I do enjoy the pictures that the kind owners post from all the shows.
The last Armortek show I attended, I wasn't feeling well all weekend, I couldn't even be bothered to try and run over Dan Snows foot when the opportunity arouse with the KT I had at the time.
I don't do politics for obvious reasons, our Churchillian wannabe prime minister couldn't find a oven ready meal let alone deliver one, so goodness knows what next year holds for us all. The Euro crates probably didn't take kindly on our recent free vote and dislike for freedoms we've so often fought for. This particular one veto'd the British in 1963 to keep us out of Europe after we helped him get his country back. (Rubbish one man turret tank too)
Lets all hope next year works out, thanks to Stephen and Armortek for organizing some fun days out and some form of normality next year.
Work permitting I might try and attend a meet.
I do enjoy the pic's posted guys, it will be two years next year when we see a new seasons worth, seems a long time away

The Tank Museum have just announced the “postponement” of both Tiger days and Tamkfest 2021

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I have personally given up hope that politicians who never experienced war first hand will ever realise that war is the worst of all possible alternatives.

Re: Armortek Events 2021
Had booked holiday time for Tankfest but not yet booked ferry or tunnel. Dad has already contacted the B&B we use to change our booking.
I thought we had got in quick with the original tickets but have been offered the Sunday / Monday ones rather than the Friday / Saturday ones.

Re: Armortek Events 2021
SW Model Show in April has been cancelled....

Lord, give me strength to change the things I am able to change.... and patience to endure the things I can not change
A bunch of Tiger and Panther variants, Leo II, Famo, 222s, a few 88`s and smaler ones like Hetzer, Stug III, 251, etc.

Re: Armortek Events 2021
..... so I wouldn’t hold out any hope for the September Model Show either, as it’s before Tiger Day
. Looks like 2021 is going to be another busted flush.
Fingers crossed for the Factory Open Day !
Stay well, all,
Chris
