Why did they choose to make a CVR(T) in WW2 German colours....?

Stephen, the British have a history of leaving the Germans quality material behind so they can adapt their strategic military plans.
This is just another example where British brilliance and innovated tech has been reverse engineered to produce a much needed high quality product for the opposing side.
No Matilda 2, No Tiger 1.
