Long time no see Glenn.

Nice update. For my tow ropes I used a brush and painted them with a pre-mixed model paint dark wash

Thanks Vince,I did think of spraying them with 2 colours of rust paint the giving the a light rub with wire wool.

Thank you,now that sounds like a good idea,I soaked my track ropes in tea which worked a little bit.

Hi Brian/Phil,is leaving the ropes in vinegar overnight long enough.If I leave them in there for 3 weeks for example would that disolve them.

I found soaking them overnight was long enough to remove the brightness and give them a more realistic appearance?
