a bit more to share
sanded and polished the casing for the drivesprocket and also made a bit of a casting look on the sprockets themselves. Hard to see, but it will be nice when painted

A question to the suspension
How much shall the end of the suspension arm be in the corresponding opposite hole where the screw goes in from the outside. If the steel rod is pushed all the way in in both ends, it will not be able to reach the hole.
any suggestions/recommentation?

Hello Steen,
About the suspension bars, i measure that the suspension rods are on each side just past the two grub screws.
I tested this with a dry fit.
best regards Yves

Re: Steen's StuG 3 build thread
Hi Steen,
I would put both end parts in without the torsionbar first, so both ends (CL0205 and CL0222) can reach the optimum position. Then measure the between inner ends dimension and middle out the torsion bar position.

Roadwheels waiting for arrival of milliput for welds
You can look forward to visit the panzer drive field. We have now digged trenches also and even built a driving commander platform where we can overlook the entire battle area and drive the tanks from the platform. No more walking behind the tanks for navigation through the battle area
Next is buildings, roads and tree vegetation
