Congratulations Alex, and others......

I'm a bit disappointed not to have Scorpion (CVRT), or Ferret, but also relieved the chequebook remains safe for now. I also have time to finish what I've got before ordering anything new, which will maintain harmony in the Hunter household :D

Easy Eight, then Tiger 1 late, then Hetzer. Lots of customers will be delighted, new ones too.

Oh well, must mean CVR(T) in late 2021, better start saving.

Congrats, Armortek, you've certainly hit some popular requests.

Now, who was that bloke in Fury? If Carlsberg made war films, they wouldn't have made Fury.........

Well thats my reservation on an Easy Eight in!

To quote my 19 year old self in 2010 on this very forum;

"Hi Guys, just a quick question for Mark and Gill and also just to get a general response from forum members.

Is there any chance of us getting a Sherman kit soon?

Who here would like to see one?

I just seem to have noticed, in amongst the sea of lovely german kit, there isn't a great deal of allied armour.

Sooo... my suggestion is, following the route of the current "Ultimate Panther" and create a sort of 3 in 1 Sherman.

You could have the options set as a standard M4a3, as already released, then add the possibility of a 76mm turret and possibly a cast hull? add to this the m4a1 engine deck and sound options, and I reckon a pretty vast choice of models could be made by ticking the different option boxes! Heck throw in wading gear as an option by either armortek or an after market vender and we could build pretty much an vvs sherman we feel! Pacific sherman waders, normandy sherman wader, a Firefly could be possible, the possiblilites would be huge!

Just a thought anyway :D

Cheers from your friendly local Ronson lover..

Alex"

Well its only taken 10 years, but today 2010 me and 2020 me are both very very happy. Bravo Armortek.

Guys, we all know it's CVRT, M113 and Land Rover next!

Happy happy happy,

Alex

Serried ranks of Fury builds would be even more boring than wall-to-wall Tigers ..........

Think outside the box, chaps ! If I had money and time (both in short supply right now, regrettably) I'd do an Easy Eight from the Korean War. Operations 'Killer' and 'Ripper' in 1951 introduced some interesting tiger motifs on the front glacis, supposedly to frighten the Chinese ...... that would really stand out in the lineup !

Have fun,

Chris
