Scottish Tank Club ?

Post by RobertMcCormick »

Hi all, I know their is the UK Tank Club and the Southern Armour Group, but just curious if their are any Scottish clubs or meets to meet some other enthusiasts and share information and tips.
While I would love to go down to Bovington some time, it is just a little far when you have to work all week.

Hello Rob,

I'm not sure about there being a Scottish Club, but I'm in Newcastle, so not THAT far away.

Cheers,

Alex

Alex,

Used to be in Newcastle every week with work, so not that far to travel.
Do you have a meet up or do you go out for a rumble yourself.
Not in a rush for meet up as I have only just started build, and its definitely the wrong time of year to try and paint up here in Scotland.

Robert

Hi Gents
Sorry I'm a bit late to the party.
I live in Aberdeenshire in a small village just outside Ellon.
If memory serves me right I'm sure there was a chap in Laurencekirk who I spoke with a few years ago and there is a lovely chap in Peterhead who I spoke with a few times just before covid also my wee lads Sid and Shorty.
That's all I know of up here but sadly as for a tank club there is nothing that I'm a wear of.
Once all this covid is done and dusted it would be great to have a meet with you lads down south.
Take care and stay safe.

Steve
