Starter Plate Detail

Has anyone noticed how the two outer locating posts and the one/two short cylinders in the starter plate are not perpendicular to the plate? They are actually at a 9 degree angle so when the plate is inserted into the starter mount on the rear hull, these components are horizontal. Really nice write-up on this at Tiger1.info, Starter Plate.
