hi everyone I'm looking to know what colours would be used in German tank markings specifically for the king tiger
I have found so far 9002 which is grey white would be used partly for the cross and numbers
But I want to know what other colours would be used
I have heard if Blue and black and red that can be used but I want to know what the ral numbers were called I have been trying to find this out for ages
Also looking to know what colours or colour would be used on antennas if possible thanks

Lets start with the Antenna these could be painted in a variety of colours most would be in the base colour of the vehicle but this is not written in stone your main colours would be RAL7021 and RAL7028 remembering that there were x4 official shades of RAL7028 then you have the colours used in Africa not to mention standard German military colours such as RAL6003, 6006, 6007, 6009. If an antenna was required one would be drawn from stores regardless of colour.
Turret number colours, as far as I know no one has studied this area apart from the main colours of white RAL9001, 9002 Black RAL9005 Yellow RAL1006 Red RAL2001, 2006, 3000 and Blue RAL5001 none of these colours would be specific to any vehicle or time period. Colours were chosen by the Abtelung Führer and could be designated to an individual company but this is not always the case some divisions used the same colour throughout others would use different colours to differentiate between companies there is no single given schematic to follow, the easiest way to arrive at what colour to use on your turret numbers if to choose witch Tiger Abteilungen you wish to depict the area of operation and the time of year as turret numbers colours could and would change depending on the Abteilung.
Reference to read regarding Tigers would be Tigers in combat Volume 1, 2 and 3 there are also books on individual Tiger Abteilungen.
