Battery question
Hi just a quick question about batteries,l just bought 2 lead acid batteries for the Chieftain rated at 30 amp, Armortek recommend that 22 amp batteries should be used. Will they be safe to use on the tank with the higher ampeage?

Re: Battery question
They're probably 30 Amp/hour rather than 30 Amps, so that's a measurement of storage and not current.
30Ah will supply 30 Amps for an hour, 22Ah will supply 22 Amps for an hour, before becoming depleted.
So to answer your questions, yes they will be fine (I have them in the Centurion AVRE).
However, they're bigger than 22Ah, so if space is tight in the Chieftain, that might be an issue.
